Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026. Ruchi Software Solutions ("BooksAuto") handles personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law.

What we collect

Account details (names, emails, phone, business details); the payroll and business information you enter about your clients and their employees; billing records (we never see or store full card numbers — Stripe processes payments); and technical records needed for security (sign-ins, IP addresses, the computers linked to your account).

How we use it

Only to provide, secure, support and bill for BooksAuto, to send service emails (receipts, reminders, security codes), and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Where it is kept

Online data is stored encrypted with our hosting provider; sensitive fields such as SINs and bank numbers are encrypted again inside the database. Payments are processed by Stripe. Windows company files stay on your computer unless you move them online.

Your choices

You can access and correct your information in the app, export your data, and ask us to delete your account. Contact our privacy officer at support@booksauto.online.
